What we collect

When you enquire, we collect the name, phone number, property postcode, service choice and any email address, property type or message you provide. We record the originating page, submission time and enquiry reference. Website hosting and security services may process technical connection information, such as an IP address and request logs, to operate and protect the site.

Why we use it

We use your details to respond, discuss the property, arrange an assessment and prepare or manage proposed work. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract, we use the information for that purpose. We also use limited information in our legitimate interests in running the business and protecting the website against spam and misuse, subject to your rights and reasonable expectations. A website enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

Storage and service providers

Enquiries are stored in our WordPress website and may be sent to our business email inbox. Google Sheets and Apps Script are also used to transfer enquiries and maintain booking, completion and job-value records. Access is restricted to authorised people handling the enquiry. Our website is hosted with Hostinger; hosting, security and email providers may process information on our behalf. We do not sell enquiry details. If another specialist needs information for your requested work, we will explain the relevant arrangement.

How long we keep information

We retain enquiry information while responding and for as long as reasonably necessary for follow-up, work records, legal obligations or handling a related dispute. We review records and remove information when it is no longer needed. Short-lived anti-spam records are kept separately from the enquiry and use hashed identifiers. Contact us if you would like details of the retention period applicable to your enquiry.

Cookies and measurement

WordPress and hosting services may use necessary cookies for security and signed-in administration. The website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement with consent controls. On our North London roofing enquiry page, Meta Pixel measures page visits and successfully saved roofing enquiries only after advertising consent. You can change your choices using Consent Preferences; rejecting advertising consent prevents Meta Pixel from loading. With advertising consent, campaign details and advertising click identifiers may also be saved with your enquiry to identify its source. Names, phone numbers, email addresses and job descriptions entered in the enquiry form are not sent as Meta Pixel event parameters. Meta automatic advanced matching and Conversions API are not enabled. Google and Meta may process technical browsing information in accordance with their privacy policies.

On the roof-survey and North London roofing enquiry pages, Microsoft Advertising (Bing) Universal Event Tracking measures page visits and successfully saved enquiries from Microsoft advertising after you allow advertising cookies. Declining advertising consent prevents our Microsoft tracking tag from loading; you can still submit an enquiry. We do not include your name, email address, phone number or enquiry text in the custom enquiry conversion events. Microsoft may process device, cookie and browsing information; see the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You can change your choices using Consent Preferences.

Your information rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer, and you may object to certain uses. Contact us using the details above to make a request. We may need to confirm your identity before responding.
